Testimonials

“We have been dealing with ‘Sports Plus’ for over six months. As a provider, the company are very professional in all their dealings with the school and the students. The management are approachable and flexible with a great willingness to accomodate the needs of individual students and groups. There has also been a willingness to fit in easily with changing timetable requirements during the school year. The range of activities offered is comprehensive and again, flexible.

Coaching staff are well trained and competent. Good, cooperative relationships with staff and students are quickly established and the quick and positive reaction to the very varied needs of individual students is a strength. Coaching staff have also made this a two-way porocess by working proactively with school staff in addressing various communication and behaviour issues with students.

The skills focus is highly appropriate to the needs and abilities of the students and there has been demonstrable progress in a very short time.
Based on Mary Ellit School’ experience, i would not hesitate to recommend ‘Sports Plus’ as an activity provider to any school or group with a similar client / student population.”

“Sports Plus have been involved with Little Bloxwich School for over 5 years. Through out that time I have found their approach to be professional at all times. Coaches are always punctual, appropriately dressed and thoroughly prepared. Staff are willing to accommodate school needs and work closely with us to give the best for our pupils at all times. After schoo activities are well attended with good relationships with staff and pupils. On the very rare occasion that we have a concern Sports Plus are always approachable and any issues are dealt with very promptly and professionaly. I would recommend them highly as an organisation to support the delivery of curriculum based p.e. and after school sporting activities.”

“A thoroughly reliable and professional service. The Sports Plus team behave like permanent staff, they go the extra mile to ensure that children learn in an enjoyable way. They deliver high quality coaching sessions to children in all three Key Stages and professionally planned materials which are suitable for the age groups they are working with, offering both challenge and enjoyment for children, those sporty and those not yet. The incidents of poor behaviour at lunchtimes have fallen by 80% since we added sports coaching to our repertoire of activities.”

“I am delighted to be able to recommend unreservedly the services of Sports' Plus. Our Sports' Day has always been an event enjoyed thoroughly by children but regarded as extremely stressful by staff. The logistics of managing an event where all children take an active part has always been our goal but has been difficult to achieve.

Andy Mulligan and a team of sports' coaches ran our sports' day events last year and it was nothing short of superb. All children took part and were kept busy using a "Station sports" type of circuit. Each station was led by one of the professional coaches who demonstrated the skills required and coached the children through each activity. This left the class teacher to manage basic supervision rather than trying to manage an event as well. The children's behavior was excellent mostly because they were constantly involved and physically challenged rather than sitting for prolonged periods of time on the sidelines.

The range of activities, the smooth transition from one station to another and the overall professional management left both staff and children with an immense feeling of satisfaction. The medals presented at the end of the day rounded off an exceptional Sports' Day. The staff, children, parents and Governing Body have been quick to request that we book the sports' coaches to run the event again this academic year. ”
